Aşağıdaki duyuruyu, çevirinin Türkçedeki ilk ilanını muhafaza edebilmek namına olduğu gibi bırakıyoruz.

Sigmund Freud’un Proje’si (Taslak‘ı) ilk kez Türkçede!
Felsefe Sanat Psikanaliz adına çalışma arkadaşımız İbrahim Şahin Ateş Freud’un 127 yıllık “kitap taslağını” Türkçeye çevirdi.
Bugün Bilimsel Bir Psikoloji Projesi adıyla bilinen, Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan ve Paul Ricoeur gibi Freud okurlarının ciddi biçimde tartıştığı metin, Freud’un 1895 yılında yakın arkadaşı Wilhelm Fliess’e gönderdiği mektuplara ilişik çalışmalardan müteşekkildir; Freud’un yaşamı boyunca hiçbir zaman yayınlanmamıştır ve hatta belki de Freud tarafından hiçbir zaman yayınlanmaya lâyık görülmemiştir.
Bilhassa 1888 ile 1899 yılları arasında yayınladığı ve konuları bakımından geniş bir alanı (afazi ve serebral palsiden felçlere, nevroz seçiminden ekonomik teoriye, sinir sisteminden somatik belirtilere, psişik aygıtın ilk topografisine, bastırma teorisine ve nicesine) kapsayan çalışmaları göz önünde bulundurulduğunda “Proje”, gözüken odur ki “birleştirici” bir vazife görebilecek kapsama ulaşmıştır. Ne var ki Freud, belki de tam olarak bu yüzden, yani bu metnin geniş kapsamı ve çeşitli sebepler ile temellendiremediği yahut ilerletemediği iddiaları yüzünden, ileriki yıllarda hiçbir zaman “Proje’ye” atıf ile konuşmamıştır.
Bununla birlikte, “Proje’yi” okuyan Freud okurları, onun sonraki eserlerinde, hiçbir zaman adını anmadan da olsa, “Proje’de” başlattığı tartışmaları nasıl sürdürdüğünü tespit etmekte hiçbir güçlük çekmeyecektir. Bu sebep ile Türkçe alan yazında gerçekleştirilebilecek nice çalışmaya destek olabilmesi umudu ile ilk kitap çevirimizi sizlerle paylaşmaktan kıvanç duyuyoruz.
